Manatee
This is a picture of a manatee I "adopted" in the early 1990's. I have always been fascinated by manatees and when I happened on information about adopting them I didn't hesitate. The required amount was $15 per year but I sent $50 which was very confusing, though welcomed, by the foundation. We received annual reports on the entire population of the reserve and specific information abou the adopted animal as they each have a name. I'm sure I have other pictures and information around about the adoption. I will post it if I can find it.
